William Gordon Brown passed away on Saturday 3rd August after a long illness. He had battled bravely whilst serving as Radio Astronomy Co-ordinator of the BAA. Many will be grateful for Gordon's contributions to amateur radio astronomy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, particularly his daughter Wendy and his son Angus. When we visited him only a week before his death, he was cheerful and was still keen to promote the future of amateur radio astronomy in the UK. He will be sadly missed.
